We’re still not over the slay of NYFW 2019 and social media is still hot with all the looks that were served. From the fashion, celebrities, and hairstyles, there was enough style inspiration to last for the next few years.
Everyone comes for the runways and fashion shows but we can’t forget the hairstyles that are always on display. Ponytails have been the trend and the style to have this year and we can’t get enough. The look is simple enough for casual outfit or you can glam it up to attend a private A-List celebrity event.
We especially loved the looks that R&B songstress Kehlani gave while she was out and about at the fashion week. The singer teamed up with celebrity hair stylist Kahh Spence to create some of our favorite ponytail looks using the True Glory brand extensions.
The epic fashion week may be over but we’re still loving these looks and rounded up a list of the ponytails the singer rocked.
Check them out!
- Side-Part Ponytail: Take a regular ponytail and make it fashion. A side-part brings an elegant element to any ponytail look you want to achieve. The singer was front row at the Jeremy Scott fashion show rocking this look. This ponytail was achieved using our Brazillian Straight extensions. The singer wore a low ponytail to the back with the side part, you can also achieve the look with a mid length ponytail or a side ponytail.
- Slick Back Ponytail: A classic ponytail look, the slick back ponytail is an everyday hairstyle or you can dress it up. Kehlani and Kahh Spence used our Brazillian Bodywave extensions to complete the mid-length ponytail. This look wasn’t too high on her head or too low and it was complete with laid baby hairs and edges. Kehlani attended the Vanity Fair’s Best Dress Party with this ponytail look.
- High Ponytail: Who doesn’t love a high ponytail? We love the switch up that Kehlani and Kahh Spence did with this classic style. The singer rocked a high ponytail but with a 60s twist. The ends of the ponytail were flipped to perfection and full of body. The look was achieved using our Brazillian Straight extensions. Kehlani rocked this look at the Philip Lim fashion show and we can’t get enough.
Which ponytail look is your favorite? While Spring NYFW is wrapped, the winter show is making its way back to New York in 2020. We can’t wait to see what hairstyles will turn heads.
